The EPA reports that indoor air quality has been found to be up to 70 times more polluted than outdoor air and yet most people spend 90% of their time indoors. Considering that we spend so much time indoors, doesn’t it make perfect sense to clean the source of our indoor air quality problems?..Our Air Ducts.
Air Duct Cleaning Improves the Quality of Your Indoor Air.
If your home is over ten years old it would probably be beneficial to have your air ducts cleaned.
If you or other members of your family have allergies, asthma, or other respiratory problems, it would definitely be beneficial to have your ducts cleaned.
If you move into a new home, duct cleaning will remove any dust, debris and odors from smoking left by the former owners or from construction.
Doing major remodeling in your existing home can cause dust to build up in ductwork. Air duct cleaning can remove this dust.
Air duct cleaning can make your heating and air conditioning system run more efficiently by removing dust in the blower, coils, and ductwork which hinders airflow.
If you have “dust trails” or discoloring coming out of your air duct registers then duct cleaning can remove this problem.
How We Clean Your Air Ducts
Our company uses one
of the most advanced
duct cleaning systems
available. We have a
trailer full of the latest
equipment to thoroughly
clean your air ducts.
First we set up one of our high powered vacuums. One is gas powered and sits outside. The other is electric with a HEPA filtration system that can be brought inside.
A vacuum hose is run to the
furnace and hooked into the
ductwork. When the
vacuum is turned on,
negative pressure is
created in the air ducts.
Air powered whips are
fed down each register,
beating around and
dislodging the dust. Our
equipment is able to
clean very long runs of
ductwork.
Cold air returns are also
cleaned out. Our agitating
tools whip around getting
into corners of rectangular
ducts unlike round brushes
which can miss dust in
corners.
The main trunk line and
plenum are cleaned next.
Our specialized
equipment can clean all
types of ducts including
metal, wood, fiberglass,
and plastic flex duct
without causing any
damage to them.
We also clean out the
air coil and furnace
blower compartment as
shown here.
Since the air duct system
is under negative
pressure, the dust is
sucked outside into a bag
by the high powered
vacuum and your house
stays clean.

If your home is 50 years or older the air ducts may contain debris like this pet hair and dust taken out of a home in Elkhart.
We can apply Duct Sanitizers to your air ducts after cleaning. We use “EviroCon” and “Oxine”, which are EPA listed for deodorizing and killing mold and mildew; but are mild and safe for air ducts.
